- Old book covers to re-use or hard cardboard

-Cover material and block of Pravin wax or can of cold wax (optional)

-Scissors, or metal ruler and exacto knife

-Liquid Carpenters glue and a sponge or old brush

-papers for the journal - whatever kind and quality you desire

-papers for the end pages that attach the book of papers to the cover
